I had the chance to relax and hang out with good friends in Paradox over the weekend. Tons of yummy snacks, everything from oatmeal to shrimp kabobs. Sunday was spent rafting on the Dolores River. The whole weekend was a much needed break and I enjoyed seeing some old friends.
I was up in Salt Lake City again last week participating in the art stroll at the Baldwin Building. It was fun, although the turn out was pretty weak. But that’s okay.
I included some pieces from the fetish series I am working on. I enjoyed the response those pieces got from people. It looks like I will be having a show on these ‘fetish’ works in Moab at my favorite Moab Gallery, Moab Art Works. I am very excited about that. I have to put a little plug in for Brian Parkin and Marian Boardley. They run Moab Art Works and I think they are fabulous!
Here is a little peek at two more of the fetish paintings. But you will not get to see them again until the show, which will probably be sometime in August. And you will have to wait until then to see the others.

Today is an art day for me. I have managed to delegate nearly all of my other responsibilities. So I get to disappear into my head and paint all day long. Lucky me.
